Folks, Toy Story 3 is legit. I guess we should expect nothing less from Pixar, but damn, where do these folks come from?
I was a little worried, a three film run is usually too much to ask when it wasn’t originally conceived as a trilogy or serial, but this is the best of the three. It was a fitting and emotional way to end the story they began 15 years ago. (Although, it isn’t quite the end.)
It really was amazing. A near perfect movie.
Also, be warned, as my friend Josué pointed out, 3D glasses don’t work as well through tears.
Go see it!!

Hey is it worth the extra $4 per person for the 3D?

I actually really enjoyed the 3D. This was only my third theatrical 3D experience, along with ‘U2-3D’ and ‘How to Train Your Dragon.’ We saw ‘HTTYD’ in 3D on a lark, and I half expected to hate it, but I was surprised to enjoy it so well (both the 3D and the movie).
The extra cash is certainly hard to part with, but 3D has come a long way. It was less about 3D gags and more about adding depth to the animation, which was pretty fun.
